My roots began from watching countless hours of old school Anime (i.e. 8 Man After and Venus Wars) and OVA [original video animation] series (i.e. Fatal Fury and Fushigi Yuugi). I got access to these older anime films by VHS taping them whenever they aired on the Sci-Fi Channel. As a young girl, I doodled on practically everything. Even grade school homework paper. For several years, I developed my Anime style of illustration until I discovered the majesty of American comic books and Michael Turner (i.e. Fathom and Witchblade). The realistic detail with anatomy and action poses made me want to improve even further with my art in a mature sense, especially with how I began to “grow up” within my personal life. After a few years of being out of the game, I am glad to have a re-centered sense of focus for my art as I continue to push the envelope.

Thank you for dropping in, supporting, watching.
